“I GOT YOUR BACK” – A POEM

 

I got your back

When the going gets tough

Still waters get rough

And you feel like giving up.

When you feel like talking

Too fatigued to go walking

While bill collectors stalking

When depression sets in

You feel you’ve lost and can’t win

Hold on tight, and don’t give in

Life will get much better

We all face stormy weather

We are in this boat together

For many, life is a struggle

Some have always hustled

Hey, welcome to the jungle!
